Welcome to Arts Index South East - developing knowledge about arts audiences in our region.

Pilot Phase

The second year of information describing the behaviour of arts attenders in five 'hubs' - Southampton, Milton Keynes, Brighton, Canterbury and Guildford - has now been added to this website.

Participants

52 arts organisations contributed data allowing us to make detailed analysis of the levels of attendance to different artforms in our region.

How to Use the Site

A wealth of information has been produced by analysing the data we've collected, and we hope you'll find this useful in informing planning, programming, benchmarking and marketing activities.

View the results either at the regional level (the 5 'hubs' in combination), or at the level specific to each of the 'hubs'. There is also the opportunity for organisations who participated in the project by contributing data to view their own information in comparable format.
