  Introduction

Brighton mapInformation on arts attendance calculated from the data collected from organisations located in and around the Brighton 'hub'.

This analyses behaviour of arts attenders living within the BN1 - BN3 central Brighton postal districts and making transactions at any of the 11 participating organisations.

You may now view 2 years' information for the 'hub'. The first year dates from 1st October 2001 to 30th September 2002, and the second year from 1st October 2002 to 30th September 2003.

Customer address data was collected along with each booking transaction, to measure attendance in terms of a) the number of bookers, b) the number of bookings made, c) the number of tickets purchased and d) the total spend.

Unique reference numbers for each booker and household, makes the data anonymous and measures the levels of cross-over between artforms and even venues (Participating organisations can choose to share this information collaboratively).
